Appify Creations AB privacy policy

Last updated: 19 October 2026. Appify Creations provides Appify Creations AB to Shopify merchants. Contact: creationsappify@gmail.com.

Information used by the app

We store the merchant’s Shopify shop domain, installation access tokens, selected product identifiers, product titles, product page paths, product price snapshots and experiment settings. These let us authenticate the installation, run tests and display results. Shopify’s authentication library may also store merchant staff session information.

On the storefront, and only when Shopify’s Customer Privacy API permits analytics, the app uses a random browser identifier to maintain an experiment assignment and deduplicate eligible page views and add-to-cart clicks. Experiment records and aggregate counts are associated with the shop. Identifiers used for deduplication are transformed using a keyed hash before storage.

The app does not read customer accounts, names, addresses, payment information, orders or purchase histories. It does not measure purchases or revenue. Our application does not retain shopper IP addresses or full browsing URLs; our infrastructure providers may process technical connection logs to operate and protect their services.

Use and sharing

We use this information to provide the app, troubleshoot issues and prevent duplicate or abusive tracking. Hosting is provided by Fly.io. Shopify processes platform and authentication information under its own policies. We do not sell shopper or merchant data or share it for advertising.

Consent and retention

Visitors who do not allow analytics remain on the page they requested. No experiment assignment or analytics event is stored by the app for those visitors. Merchants should include the app in their store privacy disclosures and configure their Shopify privacy settings appropriately.

Experiment settings and counts remain while the app is installed, unless removed through the app. Installation sessions and experiment data are deleted when a verified Shopify uninstall or shop redaction notification is received. Technical hosting logs follow the provider’s retention settings. Browser storage is controlled by the visitor and can be cleared in their browser.

Requests

Merchants can contact us to request access, correction or deletion of their app data. Shoppers should contact the merchant for privacy requests; we handle Shopify’s required data request and deletion notifications. The app cannot connect a random experiment identifier to a named customer.
